What is a cookie?

Registration form

Seagrass-Watch HQ will collect and store information you provide in this Registration Form for the purposes of enabling us to register you on our database and to assist with administrative, planning and future development of the Seagrass-Watch program. This registration will facilitate your requirements in relation to the program and allow the compilation and analysis of statistics relevant to the program.

The information that you provide in the Registration form and at any other time during the course of your involvment in the Seagrass-Watch program, including without limitation any feedback obtained, could be used by Seagrass-Watch to offer, provide and continue to improve its program, workshops and other services.

Seagrass-Watch HQ may disclose some of the information that is collected in the Registration Form such as your name, organisation,location and your email address to Local Seagrass-Watch coordinators in your area (unless you object in writing to us) for monitoring purposes.

Seagrass-Watch HQ will not otherwise, without your consent, use or disclose your personal information for any purpose unless it would reasonably be expected that such purpose is related to the program and improvement of the program or where such purpose is permitted or required by law.

We only use your personal information for the purposes for which you give it to us and for related, internal management purposes.

We do not give information about you to other government agencies, organisations or anyone else unless one of the following applies:

• you have consented
• you’d expect us to or we have told you we will
• it is required or authorised by law
• it will prevent or lessen a serious and imminent threat to somebody’s life or health or
• the disclosure is reasonably necessary for law enforcement or for the protection of public revenue.

You may access personal information that we hold about you or you can ask us to correct personal information we hold about you.

If you are on one or more of our email lists you may opt out of further contact from us by emailing Seagrass-Watch HQ and requesting that we remove your contact details from our mail out and distribution lists.
